  • Sculptra

Sculptra is a synthetic material that can be easily broken down by human body. With only one treatment, it stimulates collagen regeneration which filled up the folds and sunken area. Sculptra has been widely used in surgical products like dissolvable stiches for around 30 years, and proved to be harmless to human body. Sculptra was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2009 for treatments in the aesthetic medical field.

By injecting Sculptra into the dermis layer, it stimulates collagen production and restores fullness to facial wrinkles and folds, resulting in a softer and more youthful appearance. Sculptra will gradually break down into lactic acid, carbon dioxide and water over time, which will not be stored in the body. Sculptra can be used for cheekbones, cheeks, temples, smile lines, mental crease, and chin.

  • Calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA)

Calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) is a major connective tissue that makes up teeth and bones. It has been used in orthopedic and dental surgery such as bone cement and dental implant for over 20 years. CaHA looks like fine pearl particles covered by gel-like outer layer. A strong frame is formed after injection, allowing collagen to regenerate and develop along the tissues. The frame is firm and unaffected by exterior pressure, while the texture remains natural and flexible. CaHA can be used for wrinkles, smile lines, marionette lines, tear troughs and large sunken area on the face.
